The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) awarded contracts worth AED65.7 billion to almost 400 local suppliers, contractors, and service providers in the first half of 2025, according to the\u00a0Emirates News Agency<\/a>\u00a0(WAM).<\/p>\n

The move is part of ADNOC\u2019s strategic effort to boost socioeconomic growth, support national enterprises, and generate long-term value for the UAE through its In-Country Value (ICV) programme.<\/p>\n

The contracts cover key sectors such as drilling, logistics, operational support services, and engineering, procurement and construction (EPC). As reported by WAM, ADNOC continues to prioritise local businesses in its procurement strategy to stimulate private sector growth and reinforce national supply chain resilience.<\/p>\n

Dr. Saleh Al Hashmi, Director of Commercial & In-Country Value at ADNOC, stated that the AED65.7 billion in contract awards reflects the growing impact of the company\u2019s ICV programme in driving economic and industrial development.<\/p>\n

Key beneficiaries of the contracts include NMDC Energy, Target Engineering, Al Dhafra Co-operative Society, Arab Development Establishment, Excel Astra Engineering, Robt. Stone, GISCO, and Euro Mechanical & Electrical Contracting, WAM noted. These awards underline ADNOC\u2019s commitment to engaging capable national suppliers that add value across its operations.<\/p>\n

ADNOC also plans to inject a further AED200 billion into the UAE economy over the next five years through its ICV programme. By 2030, the company aims to locally manufacture AED90 billion worth of products from its procurement pipeline.<\/p>\n

ADNOC Launches App to Boost UAE Manufacturing<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Last month,\u00a0ADNOC introduced \u201cMake it with ADNOC<\/a>,\u201d a mobile app designed to enhance local manufacturing and support the UAE\u2019s industrial growth.<\/p>\n

This app, supporting the Make it in the Emirates initiative, offers real-time insights into ADNOC\u2019s procurement plans, presenting manufacturers, SMEs, and entrepreneurs with opportunities for long-term local manufacturing. It aims to streamline business engagement with ADNOC, enhance procurement transparency, and aid investment decision-making.<\/p>\n

The app was launched at ADNOC HQ, attended by key industry figures, including Yaser Saeed Almazrouei, ADNOC\u2019s Executive Director, who highlighted the app\u2019s role in providing businesses with real-time visibility on ADNOC\u2019s product needs. His Excellency Omar Al Suwaidi of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology emphasised its strategic importance for the national industrial sector.<\/p>\n

The launch sets the stage for the upcoming Make it in the Emirates forum in Abu Dhabi.
